Morning Minyan and Yoga
Thursdays 8:00-9:00 a.m. at the BAJC (151 Greenleaf St)
People from all spiritual traditions, have long recognized the value of beginning one's day with prayer and/or meditation. It is also a well-documented fact that people derive tremendous benefit from praying (or meditating) on a regular basis in the company of others.
Join Jo Shneiderman, certified yoga instructor, for a half hour of Jewish-inspired yoga on Thursday mornings from 8:00 to 8:30. Jo's teaching is influenced by the Iyengar method and she specializes in therapeutic applications of yoga. No yoga experience is necessary for this class. BAJC owns mats, so you don't even have to own a yoga mat. It's a great way to start the day. Come join us on Thursday mornings. For more information about the class, leave a message for Jo at 802-257-1959 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Immediately after the yoga exercises there is a half-hour morning prayer service (shacharit), led by Bob Rottenberg or other members of our congregation
