The J2GMTs: Joyous Jewish Green Mountain Teens

During our inaugural year, the group watched and critiqued the Jewish film Revolt of Job, read and critiqued a Anita Diamont’s The Red Tent, and composed and presented a dramatic reading based on My Guardian Angel by Marlboro author Sylvie Weil. The group also had discussions of a broad array of topics ranging from Jewish-Christian relations to drug prevention, and we did some Torah study.
During Year Two, the group did some trave Brooklyn, New York and to synagogues in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. Additionally they tackled some tough issues like separation and divorce.
