Our High Holidays services will be held at
All Soul's Church, West Village Meeting House (WVMH)
with 2nd day Rosh Hashanah services at 151 Greenleaf Street

Preparations

Elul

With the start of Elul, on August 31st, we began our individual High Holidays preparations. We will continue the tradition of writing down, again anonymously, our shortcomings of the past year and our resolutions for the coming year for reading aloud on Yom Kippur.

As is our tradition, we will be making available empty bags for contributions of non-perishables to the Brattleboro Drop-in Center. Our High Holiday offerings have been an important source of food for the Center and for needy folks in our area.

BAJC does not sell tickets for services during the High Holidays.

S'lichot

Saturday September 21, 7:00 pm: Annual joint service with the Keene congregation, Ahavas Achim—this year the service will be in Brattleboro at our synagogue on 151 Greenleaf Street, led by Rabbi Heyn and Rabbi Rubin.

• Ne'ilah: Saturday, Oct 8, 6:00 p.m. at WVMH

Children's Services and Child Care

We will not be holding childrens' services nor offering child care during services this year as there was not enough interest.

Break-Fast

We will have a kiddush with challah, honey cake and wine, just after the Ne'ilah service.
If you would like assistance finding a break-fast to attend, please let us know: info@bajcvermont.org, and we will do our best to help you find one.

Food Collection
