Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) -->
you are eligible for $2500 to attend a Jewish day school in Western Massachusetts. Contact your local day school for program guidelines:
Heritage Academy, Sinai Academy of the Berkshires, Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy and The Solomon Schechter Day School of the Pioneer Valley.
Tuition subsidy for Hebrew High School of New England --> you are eligible for $3500 to attend the Hebrew High School of New England (HHNE) if you are from the greater Springfield area. Contact HHNE for program guidelines.
Campership Incentive Program --> you are eligible for $1500 to attend a Jewish overnight camp for the first time, for one month or more, you are eligible for 50% of the cost of the camp up to $1500.
To attend a Jewish overnight camp as a returning camper, you are eligible for 50% of the cost of the camp up to $1000.
To attend a Jewish overnight camp for 1-2 weeks, you are eligible for 50% of the cost of camp.
Year Round Youth Experiences --> you are eligible for 1/2 membership dues and 50% of the cost of an eligible event up to $500 to join any Jewish youth group in Western Massachusetts and participate in programming outside of Western MA.
Teen trips to Israel --> you are eligible for $3000 to travel to Israel with a youth group, a Jewish overnight camp, or on an approved organized group trip.
College student study in Israel --> you are eligible for $2500 for study for a semester or year abroad in Israel.
College student travel to Israel --> you are eligible for $900 for participation in accredited programs in Israel during the summer and semester break
Adults travel to Israel --> you are eligible for $2500 for adults from Western MA to travel or study in Israel for a minimum of 1 week.
For parents of children ages 5 and under:
The P.J. Library sends Jewish-content books and music on a monthly basis to participating families with children under the age of five. You can see a list of the books and CDs (and parents can sign up) online at http://www.pjlibrary.org. There is absolutely no cost to participate, and BAJC membership is not required. Please spread the word to all local Jewish parents of young children, whether BAJC members or not. A kick-off celebration will be held on June 25th.
