Films with Jewish themes

There are several films which will entertain, delight and cause thought that relate to the Jewish community.

The first is Sunset Story, a story about two women, one Jewish who have retired to a community for elderly activists.

The second is a documentary, My Terrorist, featuring an Israeli woman who was a flight attendant attacked by Palestinians in the 70's who tries to understand her attackers and live forgiveness.

The third is an Israeli film entitled All I've Got. A story about a women who is made to consider what is valuable to her from her life.

The last is a film called Rosenstrasse about the protest by German wives of Gestapo arrests of Jewish men in Berlin. Directed by Margarethe von Trotta, the best known contemporary woman director in Germany, this is sure to be an important examination of the incident.
